The adventure bike segment in India is revving up with a wave of new launches expected in the coming months. As demand for ADVs continues to rise among enthusiasts and tourers, major manufacturers like TVS, Royal Enfield, BMW Motorrad, and Hero MotoCorp are stepping up with new offerings. Here’s a look at five eagerly anticipated adventure bikes coming soon to India:

1. TVS Apache RTX 300

Expected Launch: August 2025

TVS is set to make its ADV debut with the Apache RTX 300, first unveiled at the 2025 Auto Expo. The bike will be powered by a new 299cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled RT-XD4 engine producing 35 bhp and 28.5 Nm of torque. Paired with a 6-speed gearbox featuring slip and assist clutch, the RTX 300 comes loaded with premium features including:

  • 5-inch TFT digital display
  • Cruise control
  • Multiple riding modes
  • USD forks
  • 19-inch front and 17-inch rear alloy wheels

2. Royal Enfield Himalayan 750

Expected Launch: Late 2025

Royal Enfield’s next big adventure bike, the Himalayan 750, was recently spotted testing in Ladakh. The new model will sport a 750cc air/oil-cooled twin-cylinder engine derived from the current 650cc motor, likely generating over 60 bhp and 60 Nm of torque.

  • A refreshed, more rugged design

3. BMW F 450 GS

Expected Launch: Late 2025 (Global debut)

BMW Motorrad’s F 450 GS was previewed in concept form at EICMA 2024 and is heading toward a global reveal later this year. With a 450cc parallel-twin engine, the bike will produce around 48 hp and weigh about 175 kg.

4. Hero Xpulse 421

Hero MotoCorp’s much-awaited Xpulse 421 is expected to compete with the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 and KTM 390 Adventure R. First teased at EICMA 2024, it will feature a 421cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine, with an estimated output of 35–40 bhp.

5. Royal Enfield Himalayan Electric

Expected Launch: By Early 2027

Royal Enfield is also working on an electric version of its Himalayan adventure bike. A near-production prototype was spotted testing in Ladakh, signaling advanced development stages.

Although detailed specs are under wraps, notable elements include:
