24x7 hotline launched for GI artisans, weavers, farmers

Hyderabad: In a significant step towards strengthening India’s Geographical Indications (GI) ecosystem, RESOLUTE4IP has launched a 24x7 hotline dedicated to GI Authorized User registration. The initiative aims to simplify access, accelerate registrations, and empower artisans, weavers, and farmers who are the true custodians of India’s heritage.
Geographical Indications represent more than certification—they safeguard centuries-old craftsmanship, traditional knowledge, and region-specific specialties. Despite their importance, many genuine producers face challenges in securing GI rights due to procedural complexities and limited awareness. The new hotline is designed to bridge this gap by offering end-to-end guidance, including eligibility checks, documentation support, and real-time assistance during registration.

The service will also connect callers with legal experts, intellectual property consultants, and field coordinators, providing a handholding approach throughout the process.
