Futures rebound on renewed spot demand

Gold futures rose Rs206 to Rs62,763 per 10 grams in futures trade as speculators created fresh positions on firm spot demand. Silver futures rose Rs339 to Rs75,765 per kilogram in futures trade as participants widened their bets on a firm spot demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), gold contracts for February delivery traded higher by Rs206 or 0.42 per cent at Rs62,763 per 10 grams in a business turnover of 15,325 lots.
