Brent crude trading at $81.26/bbl

Crude oil futures on Thursday declined 0.98 per cent to Rs6,334 per barrel as participants trimmed their positions on low demand. On the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude oil for February delivery fell Rs63 or 0.98 per cent to Rs6,334 per barrel with a business volume of 2,225 lots. Globally, West Texas Intermediate crude oil traded 0.44 per cent lower at $76.30 per barrel, while Brent crude was trading 0.42 per cent lower at $81.26 per barrel in New York.
