LG Electronics partners with ITC Foods

Hyderabad: LG Electronics India, a consumer durable brand, successfully hosted the second round of its ongoing nationwide blood donation drive at NSI Kushaiguda, AS Rao Nagar Hyderabad. The event marked a significant milestone in LG Electronics' Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, aimed at making a positive impact on society. During the second round conducted, a total of 50 registrations were conducted, leading to the collection of 47 units of blood.

To commemorate its 26th anniversary in India, LG Electronics India organised a nationwide blood donation drive under the theme "Life's Good When Life's Shared". The company aims to raise awareness about the importance of blood donation and encourage people to donate blood.

K Sashi Kiran Rao (Regional Business Head) said, “This mega blood donation drive is a testament to our unwavering commitment to the well-being of society. We believe that by working together, we can make a life-saving impact on countless lives. We are committed to continuing this initiative and raising awareness of the importance of blood donation.”

To ensure maximum impact, LG Electronics has devised a comprehensive all-India media awareness campaign, leveraging radio and digital platforms to promote the initiative. Previously, the company commemorated the mega blood donation camp at their Noida office with an impressive turnout on its first day with a total of 200 registrations and collection of 156 units of blood. In addition, the first round of blood donation camp was recently held in Hyderabad at LG Best Shop-Kavuri Hills. The event witnessed a total of 81 blood donors. The company firmly believes that small actions can yield significant positive changes within society.
