Hyderabad: WE Hub, State-led incubator for women, celebrated its third anniversary. To mark this occasion, it has signed a MoU with Flipkart to launch the 'Samarth' programme across Telangana.

The partnership is to bring the artisans, weavers, and handicraft producers onto e-commerce platform. Together they aim to provide the community with opportunities that will help them attain financial independence.

The incubator has also entered into partnership with Women in Data Science and IFMR – LEADS, Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), and AgHub of Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agriculture University.

On the occasion of the third anniversary, the incubator launched entrepreneurship guide 'The Pink Book' to the Telangana women. The guide is a compendium of the State's policies that are aimed at unveiling a plethora of opportunities available for women. The government welcomes all the aspiring women entrepreneurs across the globe to set up their enterprises in the State, and the incubator stands as a pillar of support to the WE Hub endeavour.

In the last three years, the incubator has on-boarded 54 companies, raised Rs 53.2 crore funding, and engaged with 4,527 women-led entities, to build a culture of innovation and create impact in the ecosystem.

"Through the projects implemented by WE Hub in these three years, partnerships announced today, and the launch of Pink Book, I believe this is a milestone in the history of economic enablement of women in our State and our country," said Jayesh Ranjan, Principal Secretary, Industries and Commerce and IT, Telangana.

"There is still a lot more to do in terms of enabling market access, credit facilitation to women entrepreneurs, research and advocacy on the policy front for women entrepreneurship," said Deepthi Ravula, CEO, WE Hub.
