The Indian equity markets traded with modest gains in today’s trading session. The Nifty climbed above the 24,700 level. Shares of Metal jumped after reporting losses in the previous session.
As of 10:30 am, Sensex gained 412.41 points or 0.51% to 81,560.63, while Nifty surged 150.75 points or 0.61% to 24,730.05. On the broader markets front, BSE Mid-Cap index soared 0.94%. BSE Small-Cap index gained 1.14%.
Close to 2,666 shares advanced, 855 shares fell. The value of 177 shares remained unchanged.
Shares of VST Tillers Tractors tumbled 1.99% after the company’s net profit fell to ₹24.42 crore in Q4 FY25, against ₹34.75 crore in the year-ago period. Meanwhile, Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers shares were up by 17.22% as net profit surged by 118.87% to ₹244.24 crore in Q4 FY25.
Eicher Motors, Aditya Birla Real Estate, ADF Foods are among major companies that are set to release their Q4 earnings today.
