Q4 Results: Suzlon Energy Net Profit Surges 365% at ₹1,181 Crore

Suzlon Energy posted its March quarter (Q4FY25) earnings today. The company posted a net profit of ₹1,181 crore in Q4FY25, against ₹254 crore in the year-ago period, up 365% YoY.

The jump was majorly attributed to a deferred tax gain of ₹601 crore, which significantly boosted the bottom line. Moreover, the company also saw a surge in demand for its S144 wind turbine. Revenue from operations soared 73% year-on-year to ₹3,774 crore.

For FY25, Net profit rose to ₹2,072 crore from ₹660 crore in FY24. While WTG business accounted for 78% of FY25 revenue, the remaining came from the OMS (Operations and Maintenance Services) business.

Shares of Suzlon Energy closed at ₹65.44 apiece, down 1.33%.
