Q4 Results: Paytm Net Loss Narrows to ₹545 Cr; Bank of Baroda Net Profit Surges 3%

One97 Communications, the owner of digital payment services company Paytm, reported a net loss of ₹545 crore in Q4FY25, compared to a loss of ₹551 crore in the corresponding quarter a year ago.
Revenue from operations fell by 15.7% to ₹1,911.5 crore against ₹2,267.1 crore in the year-ago period.
Meanwhile, Bank of Baroda released its Q4 numbers today, May 6. The state-owned banking major posted a 3% marginal growth in its net profit which came at ₹5,048 crore in fourth quarter of FY25 against ₹4,886 crore in the year-ago period.
Interest income surged to ₹30,642 crore in Q4FY25, from ₹29,583 crore in the previous quarter a year ago.
NII slumped to ₹11,020 crore, from ₹11,793 crore in the same period a year ago.
Notably, Paytm shares closed at ₹816.50, down 5.72%, while Bank of Baroda slumped by 10.91% to ₹221.95.
