Tech Mahindra Q2 Results: A Preview of the Earnings Mood
Tech Mahindra on Tuesday, October 3, 2023, disclosed that its profit for the quarter ending September 30, 2025, was down by 4.5% and amounted to ₹1,195 crore, in comparison to the previous quarter's profit. The revenue of the firm, however, increased by 5.1% with the total amount of ₹13,995 crore, supported by continuous demand from the banking and manufacturing sectors, but still facing difficulties with the US tariff issue and visa limitations.
Analysts Expect a Positive Earnings Cycle Ahead
Brokerage firm Elara Capital forecasts a strong Q2FY26 earnings recovery across sectors, marking the first double-digit growth in six quarters.
“We expect Q2FY26E PAT for our coverage universe to rise 12.5% year-on-year, led by Cement, Real Estate, Metals, Energy, and Consumer Discretionary sectors. Margin expansion, soft input costs, and policy support such as GST and tax cuts are signaling the start of a multi-quarter earnings upcycle,” Elara Capital said.
