PNB Q4 Net Profit up 50% to ₹4,642.9 cr; Revenue Surges 13%

Punjab National Bank (PNB) reported its Q4 earnings today. Consolidated net profit for the banking major surged by 50% to ₹4,642.9 crore in Q4FY25. However, on a sequential basis, profit declined marginally by 0.1% ₹4,648.6 crore.
Income surged by 13.1% to ₹37,299 crore from ₹32,976.5 crore in Q4FY24. For the period of FY25, net profit surged to ₹17,439.6 crore, up 109% YoYfrom ₹8,328.9 crore.
As of March 2025, gross non-performing asset (GNPA) ratio slipped to 3.95% against 5.73% in the corresponding period a year ago.
The board has recommended a dividend of ₹2.90 per equity share for FY25.
Shares of Punjab National Bank closed at ₹94 apiece, down 0.50%.
