DMart Q2 Results: Avenue Supermarts Net Profit Rises 4% YoY to ₹685 Crore; Revenue Up 15%
Avenue Supermarts (DMart) Q2 FY26 results show a 3.9% rise in net profit to ₹684.8 crore and a 15.4% jump in revenue to ₹16,676.3 crore. The retailer added 8 new stores and 10 fulfilment centres this quarter.
Avenue Supermarts (DMart) reports 4% YoY rise in Q2 FY26 profit and 15% growth in revenue, expanding its retail and e-commerce operations.

Avenue Supermarts, the parent company of DMart, released its financial results for the July–September quarter (Q2 FY26) on Saturday, showing an increase in both revenue and profit at a consistent pace.
Financial Performance
The retail giant declared a net profit of ₹684.8 crore which is a 3.9% growth compared to the previous year (YoY) as it was ₹659.4 crore for the same quarter last year. On the other hand, the revenue realized through operations was up by 15.4% YoY to ₹16,676.3 crore as against ₹14,444.5 crore in Q2 FY25.
At the same time, the company’s total expenditure increased by 16% YoY to ₹15,751.08 crore from ₹13,574.83 crore which is a sign of their expansion and also the costs due to inflation.
Share Price and EPS Update
Ahead of the results, Avenue Supermarts’ shares closed 0.30% higher at ₹4,319.7 on the BSE on Friday. The stock opened at ₹4,300.35 during the session. The company released its quarterly earnings after market hours on Saturday.
The earnings per share (EPS) for Q2 FY26 stood at ₹10.53, up from ₹10.14 in the year-ago quarter. DMart also expanded its retail footprint, opening 8 new stores, bringing the total count to 432 stores as of September 30, 2025.
Management Commentary
Anshul Asawa, CEO-Designate of Avenue Supermarts, highlighted that the company achieved 15.4% revenue growth and 5.1% growth in profit after tax (PAT) compared to last year.
“Two years and older DMart stores grew by 6.8% during Q2 FY26 as compared to Q2 FY25,” Asawa added.
The company also noted that it passed on the benefits of GST rate reductions to customers following the government’s recent GST reforms.
Vikram Dasu, Whole-Time Director and CEO of Avenue E-Commerce, said,
“We added 10 new fulfilment centres in our existing markets and deepened our presence in major metro cities. However, we ceased operations in five cities — Amritsar, Belagavi, Bhilai, Chandigarh, and Ghaziabad — during the quarter. We are now operational in 19 cities across India.”
