The leading stock exchanges, BSE and NSE, have announced a special one-hour muhurat trading session on November 12, in celebration of Diwali.This symbolic trading session will take place from 6 pm to 7.15 pm, inclusive of a 15-minute pre-market session, as outlined in separate circulars issued by the stock exchanges.

This session also marks the commencement of a new Samvat, the Hindu calendar year that initiates on Diwali. It is widely believed that trading during the auspicious 'muhurat' hour brings prosperity and financial growth to the stakeholders.

Market analysts suggest that Diwali is an opportune time to commence new endeavors, and investors are likely to benefit from trading during this session throughout the year.
