Benchmark Indices Erase Early Trade Gains; Nifty Below 24,300, Sensex Around 80,330.96

The Indian benchmark indices are trading lower today, May 2. As of 12:55 pm, Sensex is trading at 80,330.96, up 0.11%, while Nifty is down 0.18% at 24,291.30.

While Nifty Realty index and Phoenix Mills are down by 1% and 7% respectively, investors are keeping a close watch on Eternal, Sonata Software, Mazagon Dock, HDFC Bank, Adani Ports on the NSE. Meanwhile, BSE Midcap and smallcap indices are trading flat.

Railtel Corp reported a net profit of ₹113.4 crore in Q4FY25, against ₹77.53 crore a year ago, buoyed by strong operations and improved business momentum.
