Bajaj Housing Finance up 4%; Q4 Profit Jumps 54% YoY

Shares of Bajaj Finance soared by 4% to clock an intraday high of ₹137 on BSE in the early trade on Thursday, April 24. The company reported a net profit of ₹587 crore in the March quarter (Q4FY25), up 54% on the back of steady business growth and upbeat asset quality.
Net interest income surged by 31% YoY to ₹823 crore, against ₹629 crore a year earlier. Net interest margin came at 4% for both Q3 and Q4, up from 3.8% in the corresponding period last year.
Assets under management went up by 26% YoY to ₹1.15 lakh crore, in which home loans accounted for 56% of the portfolio. Loan disbursals in Q4FY25 came at ₹14,254 crore, up 25% from ₹11,393 crore in the year-ago period.
Operating profit stood at ₹750 crore, compared to ₹523 crore a year back, up 43%.
Target price
The average target price of the stock is set at ₹113, which is lower by 15% from the current market prices. About 8 analysts have given a ‘Sell’ recommendation on the stock.
