Skill Lync partners with AMTZ

Hyderabad: Skill Lync, which is at the forefront of bridging the gap between the students and corporate requirements, joined hands with Andhra Pradesh MedTech Zone (AMTZ) – A Government of Andhra Pradesh enterprise to launch the country's first masters course in Medical Technology.

There is a massive shortage of design engineers and researchers; the partnership addresses the skill gap in the medical device industry. The 'Executive Master in Medical Technology' program will span 12 months including nine fundamental courses and a specialisation. Students will also receive on-the-job training by interning with a medical device manufacturing company on AMTZ campus where they will have access to an experiential learning at world-class scientific facilities.

The course is a blended learning program where students will get the chance to learn via both offline and online modes. It introduces students to the fundamentals of medical devices with the option to specialise in multiple areas such as radiology, imaging, and optics, electronics, and implants. The students have a chance to interact and learn from scientists and industry experts during their stint at AMTZ. As part of the program, the students will take a certification exam and get skill-certified by IBSC, approved by NSDA.
