SBI General Insurance eyes growth with new office in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: One of India's leading insurance companies, SBI General Insurance Company Limited said it inaugurated its new regional office in Hyderabad on Monday, to strengthen its presence in Telangana, Karnataka and Amaravati.

With the launch of this new regional office, the company said it plans to expand its reach by taking its insurance products to individuals and businesses in Hyderabad and its surrounding areas. The office will serve as a focal point for various channels and Lines of Business (LoBs) across three States, ensuring better coordination and customer service.

Kishore Kumar Poludasu, MD and CEO, SBI General Insurance inaugurated the regional office in the presence of Amit Jhingran, Deputy Managing Director, SBI – Hyderabad Circle, Naveen Chandra Jha, Chief General Manager, SBI, Amaravati Circle, Anand Pejawar – Whole-Time Director, SBI General Insurance, and other dignitaries from State Bank of India and SBI General Insurance Company Ltd.

Poludasu further said that the Hyderabad regional office will serve as the most important market covering Telangana, Karnataka and Amaravati. “The opening of this office will help us further boost insurance awareness in the area and contribute to the economy. This expansion also reflects our commitment to providing accessible insurance solutions to the public,” he added.
