Nippon steady performance for FY2024-25
Mumbai: Reliance Nippon Life Insurance Company Ltd. (RNLIC), one of India’s leading life insurance companies, announced its audited financial results for the financial year ended March 31, 2025. The company delivered a steady performance across key metrics while continuing to strengthen its customer focus and operational resilience. For FY2024-25, RNLIC reported a Profit Before Tax (PBT) of Rs247 crore, reflecting a strong growth of 25% over the previous year (Rs198 crore in FY2023-24). The company’s Assets Under Management (AUM) stood at Rs38,725 crore, marking a 9% year-on-year growth. New Business Premium (NBP) grew to Rs1,245 crore, and Total Premium rose to Rs5,711 crore, reflecting steady business momentum.
Ajmera Realty's profit falls 12%
Mumbai: Ajmera Realty and Infra India Limited on Wednesday reported a decline in its consolidated net profit as well as revenue for the fourth quarter of the financial year ending March 2025. The company’s net profit fell by 12 per cent year-on-year (YoY) to Rs25.3 crore in Q4, compared to Rs28.8 crore in the same quarter last fiscal (Q4 FY24). Revenue also saw a sharp decline of approximately 34.68 per cent, coming in at Rs151.39 crore, down from Rs231.8 crore in Q4 FY24. Total income from operations also dropped 34.4 per cent to Rs154 crore during the quarter. Ajmera’s earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) declined 33.4 per cent to Rs45.7 crore, as against Rs68.6 crore in the year-ago quarter.
Metropolis Healthcare clocks 20% drop
Mumbai: Ameera Shah-led diagnostics chain Metropolis Healthcare has reported a 19.96 per cent drop in its consolidated net profit for the fourth quarter of the financial year (Q4 FY25), as expenses shot up in the period. The company’s net profit declined to Rs29.23 crore in January-March quarter from Rs36.52 crore in the same period last year (Q4 FY24), according to its filing with the stock exchanges. The fall in profit came despite a rise in revenue. The diagnostics chain posted a 4.13 per cent increase in revenue from operations, which stood at Rs345.29 crore in Q4, compared to Rs331 crore in the year-ago quarter.
