Petrol and diesel prices in Hyderabad, Delhi, Chennai, Mumbai surges on 07 January 2021

After being stable for more than a month, the petroleum companies have started increasing the fuel prices from Wednesday and further hiked on Thursday as well. The prices which are due at 6 am at all major cities are as follows on January 7.

Petrol and Diesel prices today 07 January 2021: Petrol and diesel prices that are stable for last one month have hiked on Wednesday. The state run oil companies have increased the prices today following the crude oil rates. The fuel rates mentioned below are due at 6am and are subjected to change at anytime as per the petroleum companies.

Going by the prices on Thursday, the petrol prices in Delhi are holding at Rs. 84.20 with a hike of 23 paise per litre and diesel price at Rs. 74.38 with an increase of 26 paise. The petrol prices in Hyderabad remained at Rs. 87.59 with a hike of 25 paise and diesel at Rs. 81.17 with an increase of 29 paise.

In Chennai, the petrol price per litre costs Rs. 86.96 with an increase of 20 paise and the diesel is priced at Rs. 79.72 with 25 paise increase. The situation is similar in Mumbai with petrol price per liter at Rs. 90.83 with an increase of 23 paise and the diesel prices remained at Rs. 81.07 with an increase of 29 paise.
