Visakhapatnam Maharatna NTPC has turned into a 78,874 MW producing company in its 48 years of glorious existence, NTPC Simhadri Head of Project Sanjay Kumar Sinha said while participating in the 49th NTPC Raising Day.
During his address, Sinha highlighted the 48 years long glorious history of the organisation and the journey till 73,874 MW. He also encouraged Simhadrians to continue working hard with renewed vigour to meet all the milestones set for coming years. The awards and accolades received by NTPC Simhadri project in various fields in the recent past were mentioned.
As part of the celebration, a cake-cutting ceremony was organised, and prizes were distributed to the winners of Hindi-Pakhwada competitions.
