The construction arm of Larsen and Toubro Ltd (L&T) has secured orders for its metallurgical and material handling (MMH) and buildings and factories (B&F) businesses in India.
L&T's transportation infrastructure business secures contracts from prestigious clients
Hyderabad: The construction arm of Larsen and Toubro Ltd (L&T) has secured orders for its metallurgical and material handling (MMH) and buildings and factories (B&F) businesses in India.
The MMH business has been granted an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) order for 12Million Tonnes Per Annum (MTPA)dry circuit systems on a turnkey basis for a Screening Plant (SP-III) from NMDC Ltd at their Kirandul Complex in Chhattisgarh. The plant will be one of the largest Iron Ore Handling plants and aims to ensure uninterrupted Iron Ore supply for different customers of NMDC.
The MMH business has also secured new orders for its Products Business in the mining sector and add on orders from its existing customers. The B&F business has secured a prestigious order from DRDO to construct their flight control system facility at Aeronautical Development Establishment (ADE), in Bengaluru. The project involves construction of a 1.2 Lakh sq. ft facility consisting of Ground and six Floors building in an extremely fast track timeline of 4 months. The project will demonstrate L&T's technological expertise in modular offsite construction with composite Truss Beam technology that will be used for the Structure.
