Hyderabad top choice of travellers in X'mas week: Oyo

Hyderabad: Hospitality chain of leased and franchised hotels, Oyo Hotels and Homes releasing its annual travel trends index said that Hyderabad was in the list of destinations besides Goa and Manali to emerge as top choice for travellers during Christmas week (December 25 - 31).

Recapping travel in 2022, global hospitality technology platform, Oyo unveiled its year-end annual travel trends index - Oyo's Travelopedia 2022. Based on the analysis of Oyo's booking data globally, the report highlights key trends that shaped travel in 2022 across India, between January and December of 2022.

The company said that India witnessed 44 per cent increase in booking demand during Christmas week compared to 2021. And, besides Goa and Manali as destinations, Hyderabad also emerged as top choice for travellers during this time.

Hyderabad, Delhi, Bangalore, Kolkata, and Chennai are the most booked cities for business travel.
