Hyd to host ice-cream expo from Oct 10

Hyderabad The Indian Ice-Cream Manufacturers' Association (IICMA) announced that it will hold the 10th edition of the Indian Ice-Cream Expo 2022 from October 10 to12, 2022 at Hitex in Hyderabad.

The IICE 2022 will display new worldwide trends in the ice cream business and support both new and existing companies with information related to the industry. The expo will witness exhibitors and visitors from national and international levels.

Some of the prominent IICMA members and ice cream brands namely Amul, Vadilal, Scoops, Havmor, Hangyo, Arun Ice Cream, Naturals, Dairy Classic, Creambell, Dinshaw's and many more will be present.

The show is co-organised by IICMA and AIM Events with Rockwell Industries Limited as the 'Title Partner'. Indian Ice-cream Expo (IICE 2022) will be held at Hall one and three at Hitex, Hyderabad.

Rajesh Gandhi, MD, Vadilal Industries, chairman- IICMA said, "I encourage all ice cream producers, vendors, suppliers, and equipment providers to participate. The IICE 2022 expo in Hyderabad will see a lot of business happening".

In the B2B event, ice cream manufacturers, suppliers, vendors, and related sectors are taking part after a silent two years due to the pandemic crisis. More than 26 international firms will exhibit their products and services during the course of the event, with several making their debut at 10th IICE. The expo will also hold a seminar which will be conducted by known companies putting forth their ideas.

According to the Director of AIM Events, H Firoz Naqvi, the ice cream industry has grown by 35 per cent this year and is expected to grow by 45-50 per cent in the coming year. "The exhibition will feature ice cream manufacturing machines; cone manufacturers, printing and packaging machines and materials; equipment and component suppliers; flavours, fragrances and colours; food ingredient companies; dried fruits, nuts, and spices; saffron industry experts; coding and labelling machines; wooden stick product manufacturers/suppliers."

The participation also comes from exhibitors like cold chain companies such as cold rooms and deep freezers, freezing and handling machines, consultancy services, traders and stockist, raw material suppliers, milk powder and chocolate suppliers, and ice cream brands looking for expansions, Sudhir Shah , MD, Scoop Ice cream, president- IICMA said adding that, "we, at IICE and IICMA, would welcome business-related people from the ice cream world and various associated industries to join us in promoting the sector to indorse the industry and raise the phase for immediate improvement."
