Gold rate today on 08 January 2021: Gold rates have hiked on Friday. On MCX, the gold rates have been at Rs. 52,370 with a hike of Rs. 760. Gold rate in Delhi for 22-carat has remained at Rs. 49,660 with a fall of Rs. 400 and that of 24 carat gold is at Rs. 54,170 with a fall of Rs. 480. In Chennai, the gold rate is at Rs 48,060 per ten gram of 22 carat with a slash of Rs. 790 and that of 24 carat is at Rs. 52,420 with a slash of Rs. 870.
The gold rates in Kolkata is at Rs. 50,200 per 10 gram of 22 carat with a fall of Rs. 310 and the rate of ten grams of 24 carat is at Rs. 52,900 with a fall of Rs. 310. In Mumbai, the gold rates have been at Rs. 50,060 and Rs. 51,060 per ten grams of 22 carat and 24 carat respectively with a decrease of Rs. 300.
