GLA Varsity to open info centre in Vizag next month

Visakhapatnam: GLA University, Mathura, situated near the National Capital Region has announced that it will open South India's first information centre here by mid-April to enable students from the region to pursue higher education on its 110-acre campus.

"We want to enable students to pursue professional and job-oriented programmes such engineering, management, humanities, commerce and advanced sciences," university head (admissions and marketing) Amit Agrawal said.

He said the university is accredited with A grade by NAAC and accorded 12B status by UGC.

He said with the introduction of doctoral programmes, the university has emerged as a preferred destination for credible research output and experimentation and explained about their placement record.
