DCIL builds board room with waste

Visakhapatnam: MAKING use of waste to wealth formula with minimum expenditure, Dredging Corporation of India Limited (DCIL) has built its board room setting an example for others to replicate. The room was inaugurated at its head office here by D Subha Rao, CFO. The entire concept of the board room is based on reuse of existing waste furniture items. All the recycled items have been used to develop this new board room.

E-Darpan

The new version of E-Darpan-the magazine of DCIL was also dedicated on Wednesday to the employees by Capt S Divakar, Chief General Manager. The E-Darpan magazine is a digital platform made available to everyone with the concept of optimium use of technology. The E-Office was also launched in DCIL by G.V.R Murthy, General Manager (Technical & Material). This is a big step forward towards moving to a paperless office concept and adopting environmental friendly measures, a company spokesman said.
