Chandrasekhar takes charge as Kamma Corpn chief

Vijayawada: TUMMALA Chandrasekhar Rao was sworn in as the chairman of the Andhra Pradesh Kamma Welfare and Development Corporation at Dhanekula Kalyanamandapam here on Wednesday.
Transportation and I&PR Minister Perni Venkatramaiah ( Nani) administered the oath of office to Chandrasekhar Rao. Speaking to the media after taking charge, Chandrasekhar Rao thanked the chief minister for showing confidence in him by giving him the post. He said that work for the development of Kamma community.
He said he would ensure that the welfare schemes of the government are delivered to the poor families of the community. Deputy Chief Minister Pushpa Srivani, Ministers Perni Venkatramaiah (Nani), Kodali Venkatswara Rao (Nani), Anil Kumar Yadav, Sriranganatha Raju, MLAs Kolusu Parthasarathi, Abbaiah Chowdhury, and Vasanta Krishna Prasad were present.
