Brent crude trading at $82.77/bbl

Crude oil futures declined by 1.21 per cent to Rs6,476 per barrel as participants trimmed their positions on low demand. Globally, West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude oil was trading 0.61 per cent lower at $78.41 per barrel, and Brent crude was down 0.53 per cent at $82.77 per barrel in New York. On MCX, crude oil for September delivery fell by Rs79 or 1.21 per cent to Rs6,476 per barrel with a business volume of 7,007 lots.
