Brent crude trading at $80.89/bbl

Crude oil futures declined by 2.01 per cent to Rs6,730 per barrel as participants trimmed their positions on low demand. On MCX, crude oil for August delivery fell by Rs138 or 2.01 per cent to Rs6,730 per barrel with a business volume of 4,153 lots. Globally, West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude oil was trading 0.12 per cent lower at $80.89 per barrel, and Brent crude was down 0.14 per cent at $84.77 per barrel in New York.
