When we start a long journey, time simply flies! But any long journey starts with a single step...!

It's the happiest moment for all of us in Team Bizz Buzz to inform you all that Bizz Buzz, India's business e-daily, has just turned one. Running a media venture is always a challenge. More so during these trying times when the world is going through an unprecedented global pandemic, the Covid-19 triggered by Chinese-born novel coronavirus. Even as the future of the media industry was being hotly debated and several media organisations were staring at a bleak future amid a raging Covid crisis, Hyderabad Media House Limited, a part of diversified Kapil Group, took an audacious step to add another feather in its crown by launching Bizz Buzz in e-paper format. Thus, the India's first business e-daily took birth on November 18, 2020.

Frankly speaking, one year is a small time for a news daily. That way, Bizz Buzz is still taking its baby steps. And it has more miles to go and more milestones to cross. However, for us, the last one year has been as eventful as it gets.

I am extremely proud to say that under Bizz Talk (Page 15), we published 258 interviews in the last one year. We carried detailed interactions with economists, startup founders, chiefs of big PSUs, corporates and a host of other people. Carrying a full-page interview daily on five days in a week, is not an easy task. We accomplished it with finesse and panache thanks to our small, but dedicated team spread across the country. Perhaps, it's for the first time in Indian journalism history that such a feat has been achieved.

Further, Bizz Buzz has taken up several campaigns, carried a number of exclusive stories and on-boarded noted columnists like Devinder Sharma, an expert on agriculture sector. Our campaign on replacing Bengaluru's tagline of 'Silicon Valley of India' with 'TecHalli' evoked widespread response. So are campaigns like 'BackToOffice' that focused on 'Work FromHome', a special page on 'Covid-19' during the second wave of the deadly pandemic, etc. Bizz Buzz was also the media partner for BITS Pilani's flagship tech festival –APOGEE 2021. And it's just the beginning!

Since the launch, we adopted a conservative strategy on all fronts as it was the first year of the e-daily's existence. That was a conscious decision. Still, Bizz Buzz could make a mark of its own on the country's media landscape, in the corporate world and across power corridors. With our beloved news daily entering its second year now and, we will turn more aggressive on all fronts now.

Further, with India on course to become strong economically, Bizz Buzz, as an active and proactive financial daily, intends to play aconstructive role in our country's journey towards its economic peak. As the key objectives of our business news daily are to disseminate unbiased news and views, inspire aspirational Indians, encourage courageous entrepreneurs, help budding entrepreneurs flower and eulogize wealth creators, Bizz Buzz will support all the committed and collective efforts to transform India into a global economic powerhouse.

But success never comes easy. And the path to success is always strewn with challenges and tribulations. We are fully geared to face all the challenges to transform Bizz Buzz into a meaningful source of news and views on everything business, politics, and life too. With the active guidance of our visionary promoters, senior leadership of Kapil Group and Hyderabad Media House, we are committed to achieve this goal.

Therefore, the day is not far-off when Bizz Buzz will emerge as a leading national business daily with local flavour.
