B Hub taking startups to next level in Bihar

Mumbai: B Hub is a co-working cum mentoring facility supported by the Department of Industries, Government of Bihar, and managed by CIMP Business Incubation and Innovation Foundation (CIMP-BIIF). Situated in the heart of Patna Mouryalok complex, B Hub helps startup turn their idea into realty. It is currently developing an ecosystem in Bihar which aims to take the startup to the next level in Bihar.

Talking to Bizz Buzz, Sandeep Poundrik, Principle Secretary, Industries, Bihar, says, "Bihar youth has immense energy and potential to convert their innovative ideas in to business. The B-Hub is a platform where they can exchange knowledge, ideas and get support from the experts.

We have made the ecosystem fast, startup friendly and flexible. Instead of months, startups get funding within 45 days of application."

B Hub facility will support over 500 startups under one roof, with a total built-up area of 16,000 square feet, ready to use plug and play infrastructure like table and chairs, CCTV, Conference Hall, fully air-conditioned area with WiFi connectivity, ambiance which helps startups to keep motivated towards his work. Startups can avail seats on daily/ monthly and yearly basis for a maximum period of two year.

Startups can apply through Bihar startup portal (https://startup.indbih.com) to avail of seats in co-working space. At a fee structure of Rs 1,500 a month for a fixed seat for a period of 1 year, Rs 1,000 per month for floating seat, Rs 100 for daily seats (GST as applicable).

B Hub provides support to startups who are allotted space in the co-working zone in accessing the services of different domain expert in technology, product development, marketing sales, business strategy, IP, investment facilitation and regulatory compliances.

The mentoring facility helps in pitch deck preparation for startups, investor connect programmes (SEBI registered category I AIFs/ Venture Capitalists), interactions with unicorn startups /industrialists, other mentorship programmes (product development, product validation, market connects and financial reports).
