Apollo partners with Anaatomiz 3D to set up 3D-printing labs

Hyderabad: APOLLO Hospitals Group will enter into a partnership with Anatomiz3D Medtech, to establish hospital 3D-printing labs for design and printing of complex implants in India, according to a media release from the Apollo group on Wednesday.

The first lab would be launched in Apollo Health City, Hyderabad. The labs would provide medical 3D printing services through the creation of anatomical models for pre-surgical planning and education, patient-specific cutting and drilling guides, and customized implants and implant moulds.

The 3D printed implants would enable doctors to visualize and print implants for complicated cases, the release added.
