The Indian stock market showed resilience on Monday, recovering steadily after a lower opening. The Nifty 50 held above its recent swing low of 24,462 and closed marginally down at 24,716. Market Outlook for June 3, 2025

Siddhartha Khemka, Head of Research (Wealth Management) at Motilal Oswal, expects the Indian market to continue consolidating amid weak global cues. However, strong domestic fundamentals and a likely RBI rate cut could limit downside risks.

On the technical front, Shiju Kuthupalakkal, Senior Manager of Technical Research at Prabhudas Lilladher, noted that the Nifty 50, after a gap-down start, recovered to close flat, maintaining a bullish bias. He highlighted that a decisive move above the 25,000 mark would confirm a breakout, targeting 25,500 and 26,300 in the near term. Key support remains at 24,500.

For Bank Nifty, a breakout above the resistance zone of 55,800 was confirmed, with upside targets of 57,700 and 60,300. Near-term support is around 54,500.
