Silver prices across major Indian cities resumed their losing streak on October 26, retreating after a brief rise earlier in the week. The downturn in precious metals comes amid renewed hopes for easing trade tensions between the United States and China, which can reduce safe-haven demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), the Silver December contract last settled 0.22% down at ₹1,47,150 per kg as of Friday, October 24. Similarly, the MCX Gold December Futures contract closed 0.16% lower at ₹1,23,255 per 10 grams.
