Silver prices in Hyderabad had a slight fall on Friday after a week of price hikes. The metal priced at Rs.203 per gram and at Rs.2,03,000 per kilogram is now down by Rs.3,000 compared to Thursday's prices.
In local bullion markets the price of silver for 10 grams is Rs.2,030, which is a fall of Rs.30 over the previous day. The price for 100 grams is Rs.20,300, which is a decline of Rs.300. The traders are saying that the minor correction is due to short-term profit booking, as a lot of silver was bought in the last two weeks when prices went up a lot.
The silver market has been quite good this month, with almost a 26% gain since beginning of the month starting at Rs.1,61,000 per kilogram on the first of October and continuing its way up to a peak of Rs.2,07,000 on the fifteen.
