Hyderabad Gold Rates Fall Slightly; 22K Gold Drops by Rs 10

Gold prices in Hyderabad saw a slight drop on Thursday, as the price for 24K gold fell by Rs 11 per gram, while 22K gold decreased by Rs 10. The 18K gold also registered a minor dip of Rs 8 per gram.

As of today, the cost of 24K gold stands at Rs 9,824 per gram, 22K gold is priced at Rs 9,005 per gram, and 18K gold is available for Rs 7,368 per gram. These prices do not include GST, TCS, or other charges that may apply at local jewellery stores.

On April 24, 2025, the price fluctuations were observed across various quantities of gold. For example, the price for 10 grams of 24K gold is Rs 98,240, which shows a decrease of Rs 110 from the previous day. Similarly, 100 grams of 22K gold costs Rs 9,00,500, reflecting a reduction of Rs 1,000.

The movement in gold prices can be attributed to several factors, including changes in global market trends. International gold rates are influenced by a variety of economic elements, such as inflation rates, shifts in global interest rates, decisions by central banks on gold reserves, and fluctuations in the strength of the US dollar. Conversely, the lowest prices in April were recorded on April 8, when 24K gold was priced at Rs 8,973 per gram and 22K gold at Rs 8,225 per gram.

In the larger context of April 2025, gold prices have shown an upward trend, with an overall rise of approximately 5.82 per cent for both 22K and 24K gold compared to the beginning of the month.
