In two days, the price of 24 carat gold has fallen by ₹610 per ten grams and the price of 22 carat gold has fallen by ₹560. Now talking about the other precious metal silver, one kg silver has also become cheaper in Delhi today. After one day's stability, the price of one kg silver has decreased by ₹100 today.

Silver shines for the second consecutive day after a steady day
Talking about silver, its price has decreased by ₹100 per kg in Delhi today. A day before this, silver was stable and a day before that, it had become costlier by ₹3000. A day before that also, it was stable and before that, silver had become costlier by ₹22000 per kg in five consecutive days. Today, on 3 December, silver is being sold in Delhi for ₹1,87,900 per kg. Today, its price has fallen by ₹100 per kg. Talking about other important metros, it is being sold at the same price in Mumbai and Kolkata as well, but in Chennai, the price of silver is ₹1,95,900 per kg, which means that among the four major metros, the most expensive silver is in Chennai.
What is the trend ahead?
Nearly 70% of global institutional investors surveyed by Goldman Sachs believe that gold will continue to rise and reach new highs in 2026. Gold saw a sharp rise on December 1st. Currently, it is at its highest level in nearly six weeks. Gold is getting support from the expectation of a reduction in interest rates in the US. In a survey conducted between November 12th and 14th, more than 900 clients shared their expectations regarding gold prices. Nearly 36% of clients believed that gold would surpass $5,000 per ounce by the end of 2026. One-third of clients said that the price of gold would remain between $4,500-$5,000 per ounce.
JPMorgan also forecasts a positive outlook for gold, predicting that gold could reach $5,055 per ounce in the last quarter of next year. Morgan Stanley projects that gold prices will be around $4,400 per ounce by the end of next year. Currently, it is around $4,250.
