Gold futures slip on trimmed positions

Gold prices on Friday declined Rs 669 to Rs 95,243 per 10 grams in futures trade amid muted spot demand. On the Multi Commodity Exchange, gold contracts for June delivery traded lower by Rs 669 or 0.7 per cent to Rs 95,243 per 10 grams in a business turnover of 17,974 lots. Analysts attributed the fall in gold prices to weak global cues. In the international markets, gold futures declined 1.15 per cent to $3,310.98 per ounce in New York.
