Brent crude trade higher at $63.87/bbl

Crude oil prices Thursday rose Rs 15 to Rs 5,326 per barrel in futures trade as participants increased their positions following a firm spot demand.

Crude oil for December delivery traded higher Rs 15 or 0.28 per cent at Rs 5,326 per barrel in 3,044 lots. Analysts said raising of bets by participants kept crude oil prices higher in futures trade.

Globally, West Texas Intermediate crude was trading 0.62 per cent higher at $59.99 per barrel, while Brent crude rose 0.55 per cent to $63.87 per barrel in New York.
