Brent crude trade higher at $62.72/bbl

Crude oil prices rose Rs 41 to Rs 5,207 per barrel in futures trade as participants increased their positions following a firm spot demand. Crude oil for December delivery traded higher 0.79 per cent in 16,072 lots.

Analysts said raising of bets by participants kept crude oil prices higher in futures trade.

Globally, West Texas Intermediate crude was trading 0.41 per cent higher at $58.19 per barrel, while Brent crude rose 0.38 per cent to $62.72 per barrel in New York.
