New Delhi: Zinc prices on Wednesday fell 0.52 per cent to Rs 249.75 per kilogram in futures trade as speculators reduced their exposure, tracking negative cues from the spot market. On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for May delivery traded lower by Rs 1.30 or 0.52 per cent at Rs 249.75 per kg in 1,575 lots.

Copper futures decline on weak demand

Copper futures on Wednesday slipped 0.66 per cent to Rs 837.45 per kilogram as participants reduced their positions amid muted demand in the domestic market. On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for May delivery eased by Rs 5.55 or 0.66 per cent to Rs 837.45 per kilogram in a business turnover of 4,057 lots.

Aluminium futures dip on low turnover

Aluminium prices on Wednesday slipped Rs 1.30 to Rs 232.20 per kilogram in the futures trade as market participants trimmed their positions on a weak trend in the spot market. On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in May fell Rs 1.30 or 0.56 per cent to Rs 232.20 per kg in 2,589 lots.
