Commodity Watch: Zinc futures decline on low participation

Zinc prices fell 0.46 per cent to Rs 300.70 per kilogram in futures trade as speculators reduced their exposure, tracking negative cues from the spot market. On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for December delivery traded lower by Rs 1.40 in 540 lots.

Copper futures slip on muted demand

Copper futures on Tuesday fell Rs 9.50 to Rs 1,006.55 per kilogram as participants reduced their positions amid muted demand in the domestic market. Copper futures for the December contract eased 0.93 per cent in a business turnover of 2,019 lots.

Aluminium futures fall on weak trend

Aluminium prices declined by Rs 2.50 to Rs 273.95 per kilogram in the futures trade, as participants trimmed their positions on a weak trend in the spot market. Aluminium for delivery in December fell 0.9 per cent in 291 lots.
