New Delhi: Copper prices on Friday rose 1.29 per cent to Rs761.90 per kilogram in the futures market on the back of higher spot demand. On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), copper contracts for delivery in March traded higher by Rs9.70 or 1.29 per cent at Rs761.90 per kg in a business turnover of 4,172 lots. Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to the raising of bets by participants.
