New Delhi: Copper futures on Friday rose 0.69 per cent to Rs 839.80 per kilogram on the back of higher spot demand. On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for June delivery grew Rs 5.75 or 0.69 per cent to Rs 839.80 per kg in a business turnover of 640 lots.

Aluminium futures rise on fresh bets

Aluminium prices on Friday rose 60 paise to Rs 231.50 per kilogram in the futures market as speculators built up fresh positions amid a positive trend in the spot market. On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in May increased 60 paise or 0.26 per cent to Rs 231.50 per kg in 5,286 lots.

Zinc futures rise on high demand

Zinc prices on Friday rose 90 paise to Rs 245.15 per kilogram in the futures trade amid a pick-up in spot demand. On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for May delivery traded higher by 90 paise or 0.37 per cent at Rs 245.15 per kg with a business turnover of 3,423 lots.
