New Delhi: Copper futures on Friday marginally slipped to Rs 861.80 per kilogram as partici-pants reduced their positions amid muted demand in the domestic market. On the Multi Com-modity Exchange, copper contracts for June delivery marginally eased by 45 paise or 0.05 per cent to Rs 861.80 per kilogram in a business turnover of 6,764 lots.

Zinc futures decline on weak trend

Zinc prices on Friday fell 0.33 per cent to Rs 253.45 per kilogram in futures trade as speculators reduced their exposure, tracking negative cues from the spot market. On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for June delivery traded lower by 85 paise or 0.33 per cent at Rs 253.45 per kg in 3,048 lots.

Aluminium futures fall on easing demand

Aluminium prices on Friday declined 40 paise to Rs 236.05 per kilogram in the futures trade as participants trimmed their positions on a weak trend in the spot market. On the Multi Commodi-ty Exchange, aluminium for delivery in June fell by 40 paise or 0.17 per cent to Rs 236.05 per kg in 4,484 lots.
