New Delhi: Copper futures on Friday slipped 0.05 per cent to Rs 883.55 per kilogram as participants reduced their positions amid muted demand in the domestic market. On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for July delivery eased by 40 paise or 0.05 per cent to Rs 883.55 per kilogram in a business turnover of 1,383 lots.

Zinc futures decline on weak trend

Zinc prices on Friday fell 0.06 per cent to Rs 255.55 per kilogram in futures trade as speculators reduced their exposure, tracking negative cues from the spot market. On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for July delivery traded lower by 15 paise or 0.06 per cent at Rs 255.55 per kg in 590 lots.

Aluminium futures fall on low demand

Aluminium prices on Friday declined Rs 1.10 to Rs 240.40 per kilogram in the futures market as participants trimmed their positions on a weak trend in the spot market. On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in July fell Rs 1.10 or 0.46 per cent to Rs 240.40 per kg in 523 lots.
