New Delhi: Copper futures on Wednesday slipped 0.38 per cent to Rs 847.90 per kilogram as participants reduced their positions amid muted demand in the domestic market. On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for May delivery eased by Rs 3.25 or 0.38 per cent to Rs 847.90 per kilogram in a business turnover of 6,878 lots.

Aluminium futures decline on weak trend

Aluminium prices on Wednesday declined Rs 2.05 to Rs 229.85 per kilogram in the futures market as participants trimmed their positions on a weak trend in the spot market. On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in May fell Rs 2.05 or 0.88 per cent to Rs 229.85 per kg in 5,151 lots.

Zinc futures fall on low demand

Zinc prices on Wednesday fell 0.24 per cent to Rs 246.90 per kilogram in futures trade as speculators reduced their exposure, tracking negative cues from the spot market. On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for June delivery traded lower by 60 paise or 0.24 per cent at Rs 246.90 per kg in 333 lots.
