New Delhi: Aluminium prices dropped marginally by 20 paise to Rs 355.65 per kg in the futures trade on Thursday as participants trimmed their positions amid a weak trend in spot markets. On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in May fell by Rs 20 paise or 0.06 per cent to Rs 355.65 per kg in 35 lots.

Zinc futures ease on weak demand

Zinc prices on Thursday fell Rs 2.80 to Rs 322.70 per kg in futures trade as speculators reduced their exposure, tracking negative cues from the spot market. On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for May delivery slipped by Rs 2.80, or 0.86 per cent, to Rs 322.70 per kilogram in a business turnover of 29 lots.

Copper futures slip on muted domestic demand

Copper prices fell Rs 16.90 to Rs 1,168.20 per kilogram in the futures trade on Thursday, weighed down by muted demand in the domestic spot market. On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), copper for May delivery slipped Rs 16.90, or 1.43 per cent, to Rs 1,168.20 per kg in a business turnover of 2,124 lots.
