Commodity Watch: Aluminium Futures Fall On Low Demand

New Delhi: Aluminium prices on Tuesday declined Rs 1.15 to Rs 235.85 per kilogram in the futures market as participants trimmed their positions on a weak trend in the spot market. On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in June fell Rs 1.15 or 0.49 per cent to Rs 235.85 per kg in 4,310 lots.
Zinc futures decline on weak trend
Zinc prices on Tuesday fell 0.56 per cent to Rs 256.20 per kilogram in futures trade as speculators reduced their exposure, tracking negative cues from the spot market. On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for June delivery traded lower by Rs 1.45 or 0.56 per cent at Rs 256.20 per kg in 2,416 lots.
Copper futures dip on low turnover
Copper futures on Tuesday slipped 0.32 per cent to Rs 863.60 per kilogram as participants reduced their positions amid muted demand in the domestic market. On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for June delivery eased by Rs 2.75 or 0.32 per cent to Rs 863.60 per kilogram in a business turnover of 6,587 lots.
