Commodity Watch: Aluminium Futures Fall On Low Demand

New Delhi: Aluminium prices on Tuesday declined 20 paise to Rs 237 per kilogram in the futures trade as participants trimmed their positions on a weak trend in the spot market. On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in June fell 20 paise or 0.08 per cent to Rs 237 per kg in 2,849 lots.

Copper futures decline on weak trend

Copper futures on Tuesday slipped 0.4 per cent to Rs 857.15 per kilogram as participants reduced their positions amid muted demand in the domestic market. On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for June delivery eased by Rs 3.40 or 0.4 per cent to Rs 857.15 per kilogram in a business turnover of 4,706 lots.

Zinc futures decline on negative cues

Zinc prices on Tuesday fell 0.1 per cent to Rs 254.20 per kilogram in futures trade as speculators reduced their exposure, tracking negative cues from the spot market. On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for June delivery traded lower by 25 paise or 0.1 per cent at Rs 254.20 per kg in 1,552 lots.
